LIVE Formula Requirements: Maine-made excellence

LIVE Lab Testing - LIVE requires the use of lab-tested extracts to be used in the formula production for use in LIVE products. We have purchased a Light Lab 3 so we can do our own internal cannabinoid and terpene testing.

LIVE Quality Standards - the LIVE Quality Standards will soon be released. Our hardware also passes the strongest tests for metals leaching. We pride ourselves on the use of high quality hardware and formula inputs (extract & additives like cannabis-derived terpenes in our Gold carts) and packaging that speaks to the quality of our formula.

Distillate: the holy grail of cart extracts.

Potency: minimum 80% delta-9 THC; potencies lower may indicate lower quality (higher levels of pesticides and other impurities) and also have lower viscosities which result in final formulas that are thin and do not provide end users with a typical experience/amount consumed.

Pesticides: the official requirements on pesticides are ever evolving as research comes in, and are also state-dependent. As we've done with other issues that face changing regulation, we have focused our requirements on the California standards, which are generally the strictest in the nation. However, Maine is our principal state where our partners manufacture LIVE Products, and the pesticide requirement for vape products have not been determined yet.

Terms: typically the oil we require is referred to as Category 2 or 3 Distillate
